Sales Administrator /

Tadcaster, North Yorkshire
  • £18,000 per annum,
  • Permanent, Full-time

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Administrator / Account Executive to join a growing business in Tadcaster. This role would suit either a Graduate looking to jump start their career into an account management role or an experienced Administrator who is looking for a role with autonomy and also the opportunity to develop.

As a Sales Administrator, you will need to have an excellent telephone manner, be well organised and also highly customer focused. In joining the company, you will find yourself working in a friendly and relaxed environment which also offers great opportunity for career progression.

Salary and Employment Details:

  • Starting salary: circa £18,000 dependent on experience
  • Hours of work: Monday to Friday / 9am-5.30pm
  • Flexibility offered if required

  • You will need your own transport due to the office location

Working with the Account Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing quotes for customers on CRM system
  • Management of customer accounts, alongside the Account Director
  • Answering any questions each account may have, utilising the technical and sales resource to help you when required
  • Assisting in the management of the sales pipeline
  • Assisting with the management of product deliveries
  • Assisting with the delivery of projects and working alongside the technical team ensuring the customer is kept up to date on progress and the vendor meets timescales
  • Collating information required for responding to tenders and building a library of that information for use in other tenders
  • Updating and maintaining the CRM system
  • Renewals of customers products / services; ensuring these are quoted out 3 months in advance to avoid any lapses or missed opportunities
  • Invoicing customers once the product / services have been delivered
  • Chasing any ageing debt with customers if/when required
  • General Office based admin as and when required (organising delivery of items, ordering of stationary, assistance with items for events etc).

 Experience required:

  • Previous experience in administration / customer service / account management would be desirable 
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • ConnectWise CRM experience is desirable but not essential
  • Keen to learn and develop skills
