Looking for a Bench Joinery role where every project is different?

If you're an experienced Bench Joiner looking to move away from repetitive production work and into a role where craftsmanship really matters, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

Our client, Gills Joinery Ltd specialises in the manufacture, restoration and installation of exceptional bespoke joinery for period properties, listed buildings and luxury homes across Yorkshire and beyond.

Every piece is made with care, precision and traditional joinery techniques. From handcrafted sash windows to restoring historic timber features, you'll be part of a team that takes genuine pride in preserving quality craftsmanship.

The Role
As an Experienced Bench Joiner, you'll be involved in a wide variety of bespoke projects, including:

  • Manufacturing bespoke timber windows, doors and specialist joinery
  • Producing traditional box sash, flush casement and stormproof windows
  • Restoring and repairing historic timber windows and doors while maintaining their original character
  • Working with Accoya, hardwoods and other premium timbers
  • Reading technical drawings and manufacturing to exact specifications
  • Maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship
  • Working alongside an experienced, friendly team who genuinely care about the finished product
No two days are the same. One week you could be manufacturing a complete set of bespoke sash windows, while the next you could be restoring original joinery for a historic building that has stood for generations.
