Process Operator / Permanent, Full Time / Milton Keynes

We are recruiting for a Process Operator on behalf of a leading manufacturer in the cosmetic and food sectors, based in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and dynamic team, gain valuable industry skills, and build a career in the chemical manufacturing sector.
 
 
What you'll be doing
 
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be involved in every stage of the process. From preparing raw materials to packing and despatching the finished product. Your duties will include:
  • Preparing and quality checking packaging and raw materials before production
  • Assisting in the manufacture, packing, labelling, and despatch of products
  • Following approved methods to produce a variety of goods to exact customer and quality specifications
  • Handling empty packaging and hazardous/non-hazardous products, including bulk tankers and packed goods
  • Meeting daily KPIs and reporting any production issues to your manager
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement across the site
 
What you'll bring
 
Essential:
  • Experience working to high safety standards
  • Experience in a food or cosmetic quality-controlled environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality
  • Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirable:
  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Experience handling chemicals
  • Knowledge of process equipment such as filling machines, flow meters, and pumps
  • FLT licence
