- Communicating: communicate changes and make your team aware of what others are doing so no one is duplicating work. A brief weekly team meeting is the best way of doing this as emails can be miss-interpreted and it allows you to gauge your staff’s responses.
- Workloads: make sure your team is doing just that working as a team and supporting one another as well as the business.
- Prioritising: ensure everyone is on the ‘same page’ and that priorities for the forthcoming week are clear and focussed. This also ensures everyone is aware of their responsibilities, avoiding confusion or resentment.
- Acknowledgments: employees are 3 times more likely to stay with a company if they feel that they are valued and acknowledged.
